MAUREEN ARMSTRONG
Irish, born in Saskatchewan, Canada, Maureen found abilities after high school to bicycle across Edmonton, Alberta’s High-Level Bridge to begin career in post-secondary education and awarded degree in Social Work in five years at University of Calgary. After moving to British Columbia, Maureen studied mediation at the Justice Institute of British Columbia in New Westminster to complete Certificate in Family Mediation.

Writing and sketching affinities while daily walking often in nature led Maureen to depart to China in 2016, to teach Conversational English at Tongcheng Teachers College in Anhui Province in subtropical areas of China. In Tongcheng Maureen continues to write poetry and create art graphics for their classroom materials in memoirs Horizons in Tongcheng and develop relationships in Essences of Tongcheng.

Simply said on being Irish, Maureen becomes Irish from her grandparents' emigration from Northern Ireland, to later obtaining Republic of Ireland passport, and now enjoying travel across Western Canada and travel to Ireland. Maureen continues to write in her new work in fiction.
